TUITION AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
a. TUITION
Blissfully Yours Ballet Monthly Memberships — Tuition is automatically billed on the 1st of each month and entitles you to attend your selected class once per week. Because billing is monthly, and some months have more than 4 weeks, this may result in a 5th week class that is essentially “unpaid.” During holiday closures, tuition may not be adjusted due to canceled classes but may be used as payment for 5th-week of the month classes.
Tuition is billed at the rate of:
$192 per month for a Single Class Membership — 4 technique classes in a month at 75-minute classes each.
$155 per month for a Pointe Class Membership — 4 pointe classes in a month at 60-minute classes each.
$355 per month for a Technique and Pointe Class Membership — 4 technique classes and 4 pointe classes in a month.
$370 per month for an Unlimited Membership Contract — This will grant access to as many classes as desired. At least one technique (and one pointe if desired) will be reserved as an ongoing class. Others must be reserved by the dancer via our MINDBODY scheduling system.
$380 per month for a Private Lesson Membership — 4 private lessons, 1-hour each.
Unless otherwise specified or scheduled by the staff of Blissfully Yours Ballet, dancers may be restricted from attending levels that are deemed too high or too low for their technical level. Restrictions are set as no more than two levels higher than their regularly registered class. Level restrictions may shift when dance advances to a different level. (For example, A Beginner I student regularly attending a Beginner I class will not be able to sign up for a make-up and attend an Advanced I level class, unless that dancer has moved a level up in their regularly scheduled class)
b. CANCELlATIONS
CLASS CANCELlATION
Cancelling a class — Advanced notice is required. A cancellation must be made outside of the window of 50 minutes before class. If cancellation occurs within the 50-minute window before class, the student will forfeit that class and will not be able to make it up. If cancellation time is appropriate and outside the 50-minute window, for each class cancelled, a makeup class will be available for up to 2 months after the 1st of the month from the autopay charge that is associated with that month, and then they will expire and be no longer available for scheduling additional classes.
PRIVATE LESSON CANCELATION POLICY
In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your private lesson, we request you let us know at least 24 hours in advance of the time scheduled for your lesson. Requests to cancel or reschedule a lesson after the 24-hour window will incur a full charge. We cannot offer refunds for missed lesson time. Extenuating circumstances may be considered but may result in a $50 cancellation fee.
MEMBERSHIP TUITION CANCELLATION
Canceling Membership Tuition — We do appreciate as much notice as possible, even if you will be canceling at a future date. This helps us re-fill your spot in class as soon as we can.
Cancellations must be requested via email only by 11:59pm MST on the 27th of any given month.
Requests made after this time will incur a non-refundable monthly subscription payment for that month.
If you have unused classes at the time of cancellation, you may use those classes as makeups within the 2 months before they expire. While canceled, you will no longer accumulate classes, if you return, there is no guarantee that your place in the class desired will be available.
TUITION SUSPENSION
Suspend tuition — Tuition may be suspended for up to 1 month with the ability to schedule makeup credits. Beginning January 1st, 2022, members may only suspend their tuition and schedule makeups ONCE per year. If tuition is suspended more than once, the dancer will be unable to schedule any makeup credits during that suspension.
A suspension will result in the auto payment skipping for 1 month and will incur a charge in the next month. Requests for suspensions must be made on the 27th of the month via email only (tuition is run on the 1st of any given month). Text message requests are not an official method to suspend and are not guaranteed to be processed.
c. WORKSHOPS, DROP-INS, INTENSIVES, OR OTHER INDIVIDUAL CLASSES
We are unable to offer refunds for any of the aforementioned sessions.
